None of the photos do justice to the moments when you are drifting with sharks all around you, above you, below you......everywhere!
A group of bottle nose dolphins (tursiops truncatus), well more than a group I would say a hundred plus swam around us when drifting into the blue, magnificent!
Even in the middle of nowhere doing a deco stop a sea-lion would pop up for a fin-munch...super!
Large Banded Blenny (ophiolennius steindachneri) are everywhere, the nack is staying still long enough to get close enough for a good macro-shot.
Scorpion fish (scorpaena cardinalis)
Iconic rock at Bartholomew, you can snorkel around this one in warm water and if you ae lucky see penguins!
Volcanic caldera at Bartholomew
A Lava Lizard (microlophus albemariensis), move slowly and you will get close enough for a photo.
A sally lightfoot crab (grapsus grapsus) these are pretty much inter-tidal and you get the best photo opportunities on dry land.
A Galapagos Sea Lion (zalophus wollebaeki) on its haul out at Bartholomew.

A Galapagos Fur Seal pup (arctocephalus galapagoensis) resting on the rocks, cute but my goodness what a stink!
A close up of the head of a Land Iguana (conolophus subcristatus), for some reason this photo puts me in mind of Toby from Scuba-zone, no idea why!?!
Lonesome George (geochelone abingdoni), no trip would be complete without a shot of this famous tortoise.
