Duo Divers - Thailand - Gosh's Similian Island

Pink (or Northern) Prawn (Pandalus montagui) this pair were in a crack giving me the evil eye!

An egg cluster from Common Whelk (Buccinum undatum) a common find on the sea-shore, though this cluster was firmly attached.

This is a swimming shot of a Greater Spotted Dogfish, or Bull Huss or catshark or Nursehound (Scyliorhinus stellaris) they are becoming a more common visitor every year.

View two of a bilge sieve, these were fitted to the open ends of bilge pipes to make sure that no large crud which may block the pump could be drawn into the system.

The closest that I have seen is a Red-lined Jorunna (jorunna rubescens) but it may be a different jorunna....or a nembrotha linedata......help!!!

Being west-coast you will see plenty of Snake Locks Anemone (Anemonia sulcata) I haven't found any symbiotics yet but I am sure there are some out there.

The geology of the site comprises of small steep sided gullies, fissured into the reef

A Red Cushion Star (Porania pulvillus) this one was half on/half off a hatch so made quite a nice subject as there was access to the bottom as per this shot.

Looks like (Parazoanthus anguicomus) a type of creature called an encrusting anemone. Usually but not always found in deep water so maybe not!
